Self-Taught English Learning since 2009
My English learning journey started in 2009. Without any formal training, I embarked on a self-taught path, leveraging available resources to immerse myself in the language progressively. Movies, original series, and music became valuable allies in this endeavor. They provided cultural and linguistic immersion, introducing me to English in diverse settings.
A trip to Canada marked a pivotal phase in my learning. There, I had the chance to practice English daily, interact with locals, and adjust to different linguistic nuances.
Over the years, through consistent practice and innate curiosity, I achieved a C1 proficiency level in English.
Today, I comfortably communicate in English, both spoken and written. It has become an invaluable tool in my professional and personal life, and I relish every opportunity to use it.

Though I'm still honing my Dutch skills, this training instilled the confidence to engage at a basic level, particularly in professional settings where rudimentary understanding is vital. It also underscored the importance of multilingual communication in the professional world, especially in a bilingual country like Belgium.
This FOREM journey also instilled humility and perseverance in me. Every lesson served as a reminder that learning is an ongoing journey, and while I may not be entirely fluent in Dutch, I am committed to ongoing improvement. This training bolstered my adaptability and eagerness to learn, traits I carry into every new professional challenge.
